Race Weekend Expectations

The Official Series Videographer should be actively looking for the story of the weekend, not simply waiting for racing to begin.

Coverage should include everything from track build and rider preparation to packed stands, racing action, podium celebrations, and what happens after the checkered flag.

The goal is to create content that makes someone who wasn't at the event feel like they missed something — and makes them want to attend the next round.

Creative Expectations

The Series Videographer should bring their own creative vision while maintaining the overall identity of the AMA Partzilla National Arenacross Championship.

Content should feel

Fast. Raw. Professional. Emotional. Authentic.

The videographer should constantly be looking for moments that showcase the personalities, rivalries, intensity, atmosphere, and human stories that make Arenacross unique.

Equipment & Professional Standards

The Series Videographer is expected to

Maintain professional video equipment suitable for fast-action motorsports.
Have the ability to capture high-quality slow-motion and low-light footage.
Maintain appropriate audio equipment for interviews and behind-the-scenes content.
Maintain sufficient batteries, media, storage, and backup equipment for event weekends.
Follow all Series, AMA, venue, and track safety requirements.
Conduct themselves professionally around racers, teams, sponsors, venue personnel, and fans.
Respect restricted areas and instructions from Series officials.
Collaboration

The Official Series Videographer will work directly with TRISTAR MX / AMA Partzilla Arenacross management, along with photographers, social media personnel, broadcast crews, announcers, sponsors, and other members of the Series media team.

The position requires someone who can work independently, recognize important moments without being directed, and understand that motorsports often provides only one opportunity to capture the shot.

Overall Mission

The Official Series Videographer's mission is to document the championship and tell its story.

Every race weekend should generate a library of content that showcases the athletes, competition, fans, partners, and atmosphere of AMA Partzilla Arenacross while building the championship's digital presence and creating valuable media assets that can be used throughout the current season and beyond.
